Why I care about motion in product UI
Motion is not decoration — it is feedback. A few principles I keep coming back to.
Good motion tells you what just happened and what you can do next.
It should be fast, interruptible, and consistent. When in doubt, make it shorter.
The best interfaces feel physical: things move with weight, settle naturally, and never get in your way.
